Five weeks post-complete-hip replacement, I got the OK to resume my normal activities: running a snow blower, commuting back to work, shoveling snow, and getting back to my normal exercise routine. At eighty-two, having freedom and independence is worth more than I can say. Dr. Talmo is an experienced surgeon with a specific hip and knee focus. He is a kind and quiet person, perhaps rather a bit short on hand holding; however, his staff, including the front office and support physician assistants, more than make up for it. At my age there may be other orthopedic issues in the future. I certainly would use his service again should the need arise.
